Big Devil XL Auto® represents an important step in the development of larger autoflowering genetics from Sweet Seeds. The variety was developed from Big Devil #2 Auto® together with an autoflowering Jack Herer genetic selected by Sweet Seeds, with the objective of increasing the overall size and structural development compared with the previous generation.
The resulting plant is notably tall for an autoflowering variety, with Sweet Seeds describing a typical height range of approximately 110–160 cm. Its structure is characterized by numerous large lateral branches, giving the plant a considerably more developed appearance than many compact autoflowering varieties.
Another important characteristic of Big Devil XL Auto® is its flower structure. Sweet Seeds highlights increased flower thickness and density compared with its predecessor, together with abundant aromatic resin covering the flowers. This combination gives the variety a particularly resinous and visually impressive profile.
The central aromatic characteristic of Big Devil XL Auto® is its pronounced incense-like profile. This is complemented by fresh lemon-citrus notes, creating a combination that contrasts a deeper, aromatic base with a brighter citrus dimension.
The variety therefore stands out less for a simple sweet-fruity profile and more for its distinctive combination of incense, aromatic resin and lemon-like citrus tones.
Big Devil XL Auto® is particularly notable for bringing an XL structure to an autoflowering genetic. Its combination of substantial height, numerous lateral branches, dense flowers and abundant aromatic resin makes it one of Sweet Seeds' recognizable larger-format autoflowering varieties.
